Undergraduate Grading Policies and Grading System
Please consult the section on "Academic Regulations" in the Georgetown
University Undergraduate Bulletin for specifics on the undergraduate
grading system. In accordance with the Family Educational Rights
and Privacy Act of 1974, faculty and staff may not discuss the contents
of a student's academic record with anyone outside the university
(including parents) if the student is 18 years of age. It is the
student's responsibility to inform his or her parents regarding academic
progress, the Privacy Act, and the University's policy on this matter.
