Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Students with infantThe Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a traditional four-year program that prepares students in the biological, physical, and social sciences, as well as theory and practice of professional nursing. Nursing students also take a wide range of core curriculum courses in the humanities and liberal arts.

  • Provides hands-on clinical coursework in the first year of study. 
  • Senior elective allows students to request a particular clinical or professional area of interest.
  • Practice clinical experiences on a state-of-the-art patient simulator - GUS.
  • Small classes.
  • Supportive and involved faculty.
  • Over 200 clinical affiliations in the Washington metro area.
  • Graduates are eligible to take the N-CLEX exam for licensure to practice as professional nurses.
